Dropper Loop
Usage
The Dropper Loop is often used on multi-hook fishing lines. It can be created in the middle of a long line and forms a loop, which is perpendicular to the line.
Common Uses
- add a second hook or fly to a fishing line.
- create a branch line for bottom fishing rigs.
- attach a sinker or weight to a separate loop on the line.
- build a multi-hook rig for fishing.
Structure
The wrappings of the knot should appear nearly symmetrical on either side of the loop that is at a right angle to the line.
