Description
The Slipped Sheet Bend, also known as the Tiller's Hitch, is a 'slippery' version of the Sheet Bend that can be used in instances where a quick release is needed.
History
The name Tiller's Hitch comes from its historical use as a temporary hitch to secure the tiller or till of a boat.
Structure
The Slipped Sheet Bend has the structure of a Sheet Bend but with a quick release pull.
